Good to know

  • A short discovery call confirms the final scope and fixed quote.
  • A 50% deposit reserves the project; the balance is due before launch.
  • Printing, paid fonts, photography, domains and third-party subscriptions are quoted separately.
  • Timelines begin once the agreed content and feedback are available.
Before work begins

Clear working terms.

No surprises hidden behind a proposal. The points below are the standard starting terms; the signed project agreement confirms the exact scope, schedule and payment plan for each engagement.

01 / Revisions
Focused feedback,
clearly counted.
  • One revision round is one consolidated list of changes submitted after a scheduled presentation.
  • The package includes one, two or three rounds as listed above.
  • Feedback is requested within five business days to protect the agreed timeline.
  • New deliverables, changes to approved work or extra rounds are quoted and approved before additional work begins.
02 / Cancellation
A fair close,
at any stage.
  • Either party may end the project by written notice.
  • If the client cancels, completed work, time already committed and non-recoverable third-party costs remain payable.
  • Any remaining balance allocated to work not yet performed is not charged, or is returned if already paid.
  • If I cancel for reasons unrelated to a client breach, paid fees for undelivered work are returned and all completed paid work is handed over.
03 / Refunds
Payment follows
work delivered.
  • Approved milestones, completed services and purchased third-party items are non-refundable.
  • Overpayments and fees for work not performed are returned within 14 calendar days after the final project account is agreed.
  • In-scope defects reported during the included launch-support period are corrected without an additional fee.
  • Concerns about creative direction are addressed through the included revision rounds rather than an automatic refund after approval.

Plain-language promise Work completed is paid for. Work not performed is not charged. Any project-specific signed agreement takes precedence over this summary.

Working method06

Clarity before
decoration.

I do not begin with colours or a favourite style. I begin by understanding what the business needs people to notice, feel and do.

My process turns that understanding into one clear idea, then tests the idea against real content, real screens and real decisions.

My decision filter

  1. 01PurposeDoes it solve the right problem?
  2. 02HierarchyIs the next step obvious?
  3. 03CharacterCould this belong to anyone else?
  4. 04ConsistencyDoes every detail support the same idea?
  5. 05AccessCan people use it comfortably?
01

Listen & observe

I start with the real situation, not a moodboard.

I learn how the business works, who it needs to reach, what already feels true and where customers hesitate. I look at competitors to find the conventions worth keeping—and the sameness worth leaving behind.

Questions
Business · audience · context
Outcome
A focused creative brief
02

Frame the problem

I reduce the project to one promise and one primary action.

Before deciding how the work looks, I decide what it must communicate. I organise the content around the customer journey, establish the hierarchy and remove anything that competes with the main purpose.

Tools
Positioning · content architecture · user flow
Outcome
A clear structure and message
03

Set the direction

I choose one visual idea strong enough to guide every choice.

Typography, colour, imagery, tone and composition become a system rather than a collection of preferences. Contrast creates hierarchy, rhythm creates coherence, and a distinctive point of view makes the business easier to remember.

Tools
Type · colour · image · voice
Outcome
A coherent visual direction
04

Make & test

I design with real content and bring the idea into the browser early.

A concept has to survive real use. I test the reading order, responsive behaviour, contrast, keyboard access and calls to action while the work is still flexible. The result should feel considered without asking the visitor to work for it.

Checks
Usability · responsiveness · accessibility
Outcome
A working, testable experience
05

Refine & extend

I remove friction, sharpen the details and prepare the system to grow.

The final pass is about rhythm, consistency and restraint. I improve performance, polish interactions and extend the identity into the materials the business actually needs—from menus and displays to campaigns and stationery.

Checks
Detail · performance · continuity
Outcome
A launch-ready brand toolkit

“Good design should make a business feel more like itself—and make choosing it feel easier.”
